dear farquan, the way to" enhance" thin biotypes is with connective tissue grafting - - there are many different versions of the procedure by Mauric Salama,Mmichael Sonick, Kirk Pasquinelli and more - -also look at the videos showing the use of allografts by Pat Allen. Maurice and others -- - you are correct in this is a key factor and needs to be addressed in most cases for that consumate result- - and so also a key but easy part of the rocedure to master - - we also do Hands On Programs here at the centre in atlanta and sometimes in different cities - -check again on xp or email eddie @dentalxp HOPE THIS HELPS BUT LET US KNOW David

“Finally” - Predictable Indirect Conservative Posterior Restorations
Nowadays the maintenance of “a nice smile” represents the main desire of our patients and the request for tooth colored restorations is very high. This lecture aims to point out the relevant guidelines for obtaining predictable indirect posterior restorations through the evaluation of a correct biomechanical approach rather than giving just a “trendy” adhesive approach.

Guided Preparations and the Future of Minimally Invasive Dentistry
An introduction to describe the use of digitally designed, 3D-printed guides to prepare teeth. This state of the arts technology allows dentists to efficiently prepare teeth and deliver the final restoration in one visit. The objective of this presentation is to provide the audience an introduction to with the advancement of 3D-printing in dentistry and it’s use as it pertains to restorative options. With computer aided procedures we can now digitally design and prepare 3D-printed guides to precisely prepare teeth and deliver the final restoration without the need for a temporary.

Merging Orthodontics & Esthetic Dentistry for the Anterior Zone. A Complete Clinical & Laboratory Perspective - Part 2 of 2
Anterior zone represents a clinical challenge in dentofacial esthetics. This presentation is unique since we will illustrate multidisciplinary treatment for the anterior zone from A to Z. Through the perspective of a Master Dental Ceramist & Restorative Dentist combined with the input of the Orthodontist we will illustrate with clinical cases the management of anterior esthetic challenges. Skeletal & dental problems are treated through orthodontics & orthognatic surgery prior to periodontal plastic surgery & finally high quality restorative dentistry gives the final touch to our cases. Extensive details of the ceramic laboratory work will be explained & illustrated for preserving as much as possible tooth structure. The complete management of anterior veneers & metal free crowns will be explained in detail. Color & shapes are an integral part of this webinar.

Advanced Esthetic Management of Dental Implants: Surgical and Restorative Considerations to Improve Outcomes
This article demonstrates the importance of proper surgical and prosthetic principles in achieving esthetic implant results.Successful dental implant therapy in the maxillary anterior dentition requires meticulous attention to surgical and prosthodontic measures. Proper diagnosis, extraction technique, implant selection, and placement significantly impact outcomes. Respect of hard and soft tissue physiology following tooth loss and implant placement requires specific steps be taken. Management tissue contours properly, via regenerative therapy, results in successful framing of the restoration. Provisionalization and definitive restorative therapy also impacts the level of esthetic success. The contours of the temporary abutment and crown develop soft tissue contours for the final restoration. Overcontouring can lead to soft tissue recession and mucosal asymmetry. Design of the definitive crown(s) is crucial for long-term maintenance of esthetically acceptable results.

Surgical Veneer Grafting - Compensation for Natural Labial Plate Remodeling After Immediate Implant Placement

Surgical Veneer Grafting - Compensation for Natural Labial Plate Remodeling After Immediate Implant Placement
Contemporary implant therapy aims to provide highly esthetic and predictable treatment outcomes while decreasing treatment duration and complexity. The clinician must therefore be cognizant of circumstances with a predisposition toward esthetic outcomes and treatment plan accordingly. Preservation of the surrounding hard and soft tissues associated with an immediate postextraction socket implant to replace a nonrestorable tooth in the esthetic zone is one of the greatest challenges facing the dental team. A case report of a hopeless maxillary left central incisor in a patient with a thin periodontal phenotype illustrates this new surgical and prosthetic approach. Clinical, radiological, and esthetic parameters were recorded to evaluate primary treatment outcomes.

Prosthetic Gingival Reconstruction in a Fixed Partial Restoration - Part 1: Introduction to Artificial Gingiva as an Alternative Therapy
The Class III defect environment entails a vertical and horizontal deficiency in the endentulous ridge. Often, bone and soft tissue surgical procedures fall short of achieving a natural esthetic result. Alternative surgical and restorative protocols for these types of prosthetic gingival restorations are presented in this three-part series, which highlights the diagnostic and treatment aspects as well as the lab and maintenance challenges involved.
