ワイドインプラントでの即時臼歯埋入 Part1

Description:
Salvation of failing molars are now a clinical dilemma due to cost and predictability. Therefore most dental clinicians prefer extraction, healing, than placing of the implant. However, this often involves socket preservation and delayed approach due to technical difficulties in placement of an implant at the septum of the molar extraction site. Dr. Lee will present a new techique utilizing a trephine to collect autogenous bone, and placement of a superwide implant 6-8mm in diameter to fill up the extraction site.

MegaGen is just great

Maurice Salama - (11/25/2014 11:03 AM)

Mansour; I also do not utilize a membrane at time of immediate implant placement. As long as the gap is less than 2.25mm to the surrounding walls the literature does not support the need for a membrane. Dr. Salama

nice presentation, but you did not cover your allograft with any kind of membrane , don't you think ,the bone quality around the implant will not be the best, since you did not cover it with membrane I mean in cases ,where you don't have enough auto-genes bone and you are forced to use allograft?thanks again

Great job Doctor Lee.

Great job Doctor Lee. As an orthodontist just learning how to place implants you have opened my eyes to several ways to better serve my patients. The majority of my orthodontic colleagues limit their practices to traditional orthodontics. After 40 years of traditional ortho I am ready to used learned ortho skills to more favorably plan and place implants. Thank you for your contribution.

CBCT as an Interdisciplinary Diagnostic and Treatment Planning Tool
The era of in-office Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) has unequivocally transformed interdisciplinary dentofacial therapy (IDT). While in-office CBCT imaging may be the latest technological breakthrough enhancing opportunities for treatment planning, it is diagnosis that has remained the constant variable critical for predictable patient outcomes.

Managing Technology for Best Outcomes and Productivity
Digital technology provides tools to improve planning, clinical execution, prosthetic design, manufacturing, maintenance, and cost of care. Dental professionals need to understand the value of individual technologies as well as the benefit derived from linking them together. During this presentation, a business model and clinical cases will be used to illustrate how a number of digital technologies can impact outcomes and productivity.

Esthetic Management for Compromised Extraction Sites - Part 2 of 2
Missing soft tissue is the main reason for compromised results in the aesthetic zone. But since the soft tissue has to be supported by a sufficient amount of bone, our focus has also to be on bone. Due to the fact that no bone-preservation technique (at the time of tooth extraction) available today, gives us the perfect result we need, augmentation procedures are still needed. Appropriate bone and soft tissue engineering in all three dimensions enhances the aesthetic performance of long-lasting restorations that blend in well and emerge from the periimplant sulcus in harmony with the neighboring teeth.

Root Fracture During Insertion of Prefabricated Posts

Root Fracture During Insertion of Prefabricated Posts
The consequence of inappropriate post selection and/ or hasty insertion can result in tooth fracture and/or loss. It has been demonstrated that conical or parallel sided post design has a direct effect on root fracture during post insertion. However, during experimentation it became apparent that root size and its relationship to post size had a direct effect on root fracture. This article correlates root size, post size, and fracture rate during insertion of prefabricated posts.

Linear Tomography in Conjuction with Pantomography in Implant Assessmnet Sites

Linear Tomography in Conjuction with Pantomography in Implant Assessmnet Sites
Tomography provides a three-dimensional unobstructed and anatomically accurate picture of the region being viewed. Tomography is a radiographic technique in which a "slice" or section of a given internal body structure is imaged in a pre-determined plane. The advantage of utilizing a tomographic evaluation along with a pan tomographic survey is that the clinician may examine the exact position or depth in all three planes of visualization. This radiographic modality can also reveal the quality and…
