thank you , very much Do you have the stadistic of "relapse" congratulations

Dr Bhola, i found your presentation very interesting and inspiring. But i have some doubts about the management of the movements that the patients can do after the surgery. They have to avoid smiling o do bigger movements with their lips for how much time?. Sorry if my english it isn't as correct as it should be. Thank you for the presentation.

Mohammad Khandaqji - (6/8/2014 10:20 PM)

Thank you Dr. Monish! Very nice presentation. I'm wondering about the need to regroup the muscle fibers as I have seen in another representation. I understand that having minimal thickness of tissue removal will minimize the relapse but could you please explain how you came to this conclusion?

Maurice Salama - (6/5/2014 7:28 AM)

Monish; Thank you and see you at the DentalXP Global Symposium. What is the realistic "relapse" potential of this procedure? How do explain this to the patient? many thanks Dr. Salama

Patients with benign tumors can and should be reconstructed immediately after removal of the tumor, if possible. In this brief presentation, Dr. Doñas shows a case where the surgical and prosthodontic team work together from the start and how it can impact the overall outcome for the patient and how certain prosthetic treatment modalities & issues can be including as a part of the surgical plan.

Next Generation Biomaterials for Bone and Periodontal Regeneration - Part 1 of 2
New and innovative biomaterials are being discovered or created in laboratories at an unprecedented rate, but many entirely unknown to practicing clinicians. This course addresses this gap in knowledge by summarizing some of the groundbreaking research performed to date on this topic and provides case examples of these biomaterials at work. The course begins with a review of the biologic background and applications of bone grafting materials utilized in dentistry. Thereafter, new and exciting updates on Platelet Rich Fibrin, Emdogain/Osteogain, Tetranite and Vitamin D deficiency are discussed with respect to their ability to promote either bone or periodontal regeneration.

The Surgical-Restorative Digital Work Flow In Comprehensive Therapy
Traditional methods of treating our patients are being been replaced by digital processes, impacting our daily life. The intake of various technologies such as CBCT imaging, scanning, digital restorative design and CAD/CAM production have contributed to this movement. In the same time, restorative materials have also been developed and studied that have improved strength and esthetic qualities. All these capabilities create opportunities for better restorative outcome. This presentation will highlight a practice-based model centered on digitally enhanced treatment for efficient and predictable esthetic restorative outcomes.

The “Scalloped Guide”: A Proof-of-Concept Technique for a Digitally Streamlined, Pink-Free Full-Arch Implant Protocol
Inadequate restorative space can result in mechanical, biologic, and esthetic complications with full-arch fixed implant-supported prosthetics. As such, clinicians often reduce bone to create clearance. The aim of this paper was to present a protocol using stacking computer-aided design/computerassisted manufacturing (CAD/CAM) guides to minimize and accurately obtain the desired bone reduction, immediately place prosthetically guided implants, and load a provisional that replicates predetermined tissue contour. This protocol can help clinicians minimize bone reduction and place the implants in an ideal position that allows them to emerge from the soft tissue interface with a natural, pink-free zirconia fixed dental prostheses.

Copy-paste concept: Full digital approach in the management of gingival emergence profiles

Copy-paste concept: Full digital approach in the management of gingival emergence profiles
Obtaining a perfect integration of a prosthetic rehabilitation on natural teeth and implants in the esthetic zone requires a deep knowledge of the biological processes and a clear understanding of the characteristics of the restorative materials. Once the soft tissue profile has been created with the placement of a temporary prosthesis, the ability to accurately transfer information about the tissue profile and the contour of the restoration for the fabrication of the definitive crowns can be challenging.
