Preservation and Augmentation are often unsuccessful in clinical practice and we are then faced with a significant challenge to reconstruct these deficiencies. This presentation by three members of a single reconstruction team suggests recent changes to their armamentarium to meet these challenges. A Surgeon, Prosthodontist and Ceramist together detail specific tools to address these daunting clinical issues. Piezosurgery on Impacted Teeth
The use of ultrasound applied to surgery has changed some of the most frequent clinical procedures, such as the extraction of third parties molars included, thus spreading an innovative concept in all dentistry: piezoelectric surgery or piezosurgery. Unlike implantology, it is a branch now widespread among dentists, extractive surgery still represents a "taboo" for many colleagues, who while practicing surgery daily implant, prefer to leave the avulsions often to maxillofacial surgeons or oral surgeons, considering it an intervention of greater complexity and often a source of anxiety and stress for the operator. So taking care of about 10 years of simple and complex extractive surgery I had the need to elaborate a lecture in which they are described in a simple and linear way the surgical techniques for the avulsion of the dental elements included, to provide a repeatable and predictable approach and method in order to reduce their invasiveness and traumaticity procedures.

Immediate implants have several advantages over traditional phased implant placement. Shortened treatment time and a single surgical procedure are among some of these benefits. Clinical Investigation on Axial versus Tilted Implants for Immediate Fixed Rehabilitation of Edentulous Arches: Preliminary Results of a Single Cohort Study
The aims of this study were to evaluate the clinical outcomes and patients’ satisfaction with immediately loaded full-arch fixed prostheses supported solely by axial or by a combination of axial and tilted implants in both jaws and to compare the outcome of tilted versus axial fixtures in the same patients up to 5 years. The null hypothesis was that no difference in survival rate and marginal bone level change would exist between axial and tilted implants and no difference in prosthetic survival between rehabilitation's supported only by axial implants or by a combination of axial and tilted implants.
