Would be nice to see some details on how to create that occlussal anatomy
The way to create the occlusal anatomy on a direct bonded posterior restoration is a three part process:
1) The first and most important aspect is to mentally visualize the anatomy that must be obtained when the restoration is completed. In this manner, when the composite layering is created, the proper amount of dentin and enamel material is utilized. If one does not visualized the final anatomy from the onset, it is possible not enough room has been allowed for the placement of the enamel layer; therefore if any occlusal adjustments are done at the end of the occlusal adjustment, the enamel layering effects will be lost.
2) Most of the anatomy is created during the layering technique and prior to polymerization.
3) Final detailed anatomy can be refined if needed with a shofu robot diamond bur(7104 or 7106).

“Finally” - Predictable Indirect Conservative Posterior Restorations Premium Member Content

“Finally” - Predictable Indirect Conservative Posterior Restorations
Predictable and repeatable results can be achieved through materials and clinical practices that, on one hand, preserve the original structure of the compromised tooth and, on the other hand, involve a very low biologic price. New technologies for the enamel-dentin adhesion and the continuous evolution of more sophisticated esthetic materials (composite resins and porcelains) allow the effective reaching of verifiable and predictable results. Technologies and materials have to follow an operative approach that strictly involves operative steps which have been carefully codified referring to the materials typology used for time to time. This lecture aims to point out the relevant guidelines for obtaining predictable indirect posterior restorations through the evaluation of a correct biomechanical approach rather than giving just a “trendy” adhesive approach.

Visagism: The Art of Dental Composition
The aim of this article is to present a novel concept: Visagism. The Visagism concept helps dental clinicians provide restorations that account not only for esthetics, but also for the psychosocial features of the created image, which affect patients’ emotions, sense of identity, behavior, and self-esteem. These factors, in turn, affect how observers react to patients following treatment.

Prosthetic Gingival Reconstruction in a Fixed Partial Restoration - Part 1: Introduction to Artificial Gingiva as an Alternative Therapy
The Class III defect environment entails a vertical and horizontal deficiency in the endentulous ridge. Often, bone and soft tissue surgical procedures fall short of achieving a natural esthetic result. Alternative surgical and restorative protocols for these types of prosthetic gingival restorations are presented in this three-part series, which highlights the diagnostic and treatment aspects as well as the lab and maintenance challenges involved.
