I enjoyed watching this lecture. Can you say more about the easy bar. Is it a one piece bendable or multi pieces duralayed together? Is it incorporated in the PMMA to add resistance to fracture ?

Treatment of the Fully Edentulous Patient: Prosthetic Implant Solutions
Restoration of the completely edentulous patient with dental implant therapy is a rewarding treatment modality for the patient and dentist. In order to accomplish consistent and predictable treatment outcomes, an understanding of the fundamental principles of implant biomechanics, prosthetic, surgical and treatment planning considerations is required. Dr. Aldo Leopardi’s objective is to bring all of these factors into perspective, through an understanding of the current literature and how to apply it to clinical practice. Discussion will include, but not be limited to:
Review of treatment planning for the overdenture patient.
To understand the biomechanical principles in Prosthetic.
Design: stress broken verses rigid design concepts.
Discussion of fixed implant restorative solutions for the completely edentulous patient.

Indications of In-Office Treatments: Topical Fluoride, Varnish, Foam and Gels
A study conducted in the 1990s, demonstrated a steady rate of decline of instances of coronal caries through the 1980s. This decline was attributed to an increase in oral health education regarding diet, oral hygiene and an increased awareness about the benefits of applying fluoride-containing topical treatments such as dental sealants varnishes, foams, or gels to the teeth of individuals of all ages in moderate-to-high risk groups for caries. This presentation reviews the history, efficacy, and indications. You will learn the history of all varnishes, differences in fluoride foams and gels as well as which fluorides work best for different patients and practices.

Pure Dental Esthetics – From Titanium to Zirconia
The replacement of a single tooth with dental implants, especially when the patient has a high smile line, has been an esthetic challenge in implant dentistry. Typically, it requires very careful stages to create the final restoration as natural as possible. When there is loss of soft tissues, carefully made dental-gingival prosthesis becomes an alternative of therapy. For all cases with high smile line, achieving perfection in color and texture of the restoration it's not an easy task. Currently there are some ways to achieve better aesthetic results, including digital scanning of colors. This presentation describes step-by-step the application of a protocol developed in our clinic. Several cases will be discussed. In addition, recent technologies such as zirconium implants are also be discussed.

CAD/CAM Anterior Esthetic Implant Restorations: The BellaTek Encode Healing Abutment and CAD-Block Ceramics
Digital design software programs for teeth and implant restorations have evolved over the past 5 years. Using CBCT scans and digital preoperative scans, the clinician can properly plan the placement of implant fixtures. Various software programs and intraoral scanners offer analysis of proper implant position, angle of implant placement, and depth of tissue
and occlusal clearance. The utilization of coded healing abutments (BellaTek®, Encode®, Biomet 3i) may also add to the precision of design and calibration of all tissue contacting points of the emerging abutment. This article will introduce and
describe a current model for fabrication of ideal abutments, and fabrication of CAD/
CAM restorations for the anterior esthetic zone.

Prosthetic Gingival Reconstruction in a Fixed Partial Restoration - Part 1: Introduction to Artificial Gingiva as an Alternative Therapy
The Class III defect environment entails a vertical and horizontal deficiency in the endentulous ridge. Often, bone and soft tissue surgical procedures fall short of achieving a natural esthetic result. Alternative surgical and restorative protocols for these types of prosthetic gingival restorations are presented in this three-part series, which highlights the diagnostic and treatment aspects as well as the lab and maintenance challenges involved.
