Robert; I have utilized these TADs with much success. They do fail from time to time and I have to replace them which is not so bad. Sometimes 2 TADs may be needed relative to the amount of force and lever arm distance. In addition, the location and "length" of the TAD are also important. Sam

I found that the mini implant was easily overwhelmed by the forces necessary to move the tooth. Has there been any research concerning the relative amount of force to upright a molar to that to dislodge a mini implant or even the amount of lateral force that could be placed on a more traditional 4 or 5 mm diameter implant. Furthermore, could it be considered to do two mini implants and triangulate with the molar. thanks

excellent cases ,i was wondering if you adjust occlusion in molar uprighting to avoide interfearance and if yes then when you do it ,other ? is do you connect miniimplant same day of surgery to the applince or do you wait,thanks Tipo khan DDS
