新世代のベニヤのプレップ Part2
Description:
Tooth preparation; decision making represents the very basis accelerating, simplifying the veneer process today. Veneer preparation has evolved to a new third generation approach determined by the desire outcome, but facilitated by new materials products technique. Fortunately, these developments in ceramics and dental adhesives have combined synergistically to deliver more conservative restorations that are with greater ease and predictability. This fine session will focus on accelerated, simplified, conservative approaches to veneer preparations.

Excellent presentation. I have a question with occlusion. The pt had a very pronounced wear pattern. Certainly some of the lateral and protrusive movements would be onto the lingual-incisal portion of the lengthened veneers. Wouldn't something be needed to open the bite or change the guidance in some way?

Great video Dr. Garber. I would appreciate the answers to the questions posed below by colleagues when you have a chance. Many thanks Sam
Dear Dr Garber..thank you its a great presentation. What did you use to spot bond the temps in place for 2 weeks ? Did you bond them into place with flowable composite on the spot etched place after removing the luxatemp from the preps first?Or did you place the spot etch, then put on some unfilled resin as the bond and then allow the luxatemp to shrink wrap and bond into place? Thank you very much;Sharon Goodwin

Dental Ceramics: Material Properties and Clinical Applications - Part 2 of 3
This presentation will give viewers a background of the physical and mechanical properties of current dental ceramics. The material properties of the ceramics will be used to explain clinical recommendations for selecting a restorative material and designing the prosthesis. Additionally, laboratory research data will be presented to help the clinician determine the best method to cement or bond an all-ceramic restoration. Finally, an overview of laboratory fabrication of all-ceramic restorations will be presented in order to show clinicians their options when sending out a laboratory prescription.

Minimally Invasive Protocols for Total Esthetic Reconstructions
One of the biggest challenges that we dentists have are those cases that require a multidisciplinary approach which traditionally were managed using invasive and long term treatments. Nowadays, and depending on the case, the contemporary dentist can offer minimally invasive treatments which allow us to modify the shape of the hard and soft tissues.
The combination of surgical lip repositioning with periodontal plastic surgery yields highly effective results in the treatment of gummy smiles. During patient examination it is important to establish the etiology responsible for the excessive gingival display. The combined technique can be considered as an alternative option to more invasive procedures. The prognosis is acceptable and the patient realizes that the esthetic problem has been minimized.

Interdisciplinary Team Dentistry for Total Dentofacial Esthetics - Part 1 of 2
Orthodontics sets up the foundation for future prosthetics in cases with periodontal, surgical and restorative dentistry requirements. Adult orthodontics simplifies complex clinical situations. Making it easier for restorative dentist to achieve better esthetic & functional results. Orthognatic surgery combined with orthodontics corrects skeletal discrepancies in order to have the patient ready for prosthodontic replacement of multiple missing teeth. Cases combined with implants to restore form & function will further illustrate the importance of multidisciplinary dentistry. Today´s practice requires a team approach that will be presented. In order to meet the patient´s demands for better esthetics and to obtain long term occlusal stability of our results.

Crown Lengthening & Esthetic Upgrades Using M.Vision Digital Workflow
During last 10 years dentistry changed a lot. Practices around the world implement digital technologies in everyday practice. Modern digital approach in M.Vision clinic during smile makeover will be demonstrated step y step. You will see 3D planning stage, crown lengthening procedure, transfer of mock-up, preparation with microscope, intra oral scanning procedures, lab steps, isolation and bonding procedures. Also we will raise a discussion of new technologies (scanners, milling machines, 3D printers) possibilities.

Short Tooth Syndrome: Diagnosis, Etiology, and Treatment Management
The periodontal-restorative team is uniquely positioned to provide the esthetic procedures thet today' s sophisticated patient population has come to expect. Not only is health and function of great desire but also esthetics is in demand. Armed with periodontal-plastic procedures and technically advanced restarative materials, the periodontal-restorative team can provide these patient needs. The challenge becomes making the correct diagnosis and selecting the appropriate treatment regimen.

The "Hybrid Abutment": A New Design for Implant Cemented Restorations in the Esthetic Zones
Cemented implant restorations are widely used by many dentists. The traditional abutment design resembles a natural tooth prepared for a crown with a similar taper and a chamfer finish line. A frequent complication associated with implant restorations in the esthetic zones is the recession of buccal gingiva over time. Abutment morphology, among several other prosthetic factors, may play an important role in the stability of gingival margin in esthetically sensitive areas, but this has never been thoroughly analyzed. With many considerations in mind and recent techniques released, this article proposes the "hybrid abutment: design (HAD), a new design that includes a combination of the two types of features - a feather edge on the buccal side, and a chamfer finish line on the lingual side. This article also presents a rationale for the use of different abutment designs for different situations.

Updating Classifications of Ceramic Dental Materials
The indications for and composition of today’s dental ceramic materials serve as the basis
for determining the appropriate class of ceramics to use for a given case. By understanding
the classifications, composition, and characteristics of the latest all-ceramic materials,
which are presented in this article in order of most to least conservative, dentists and
laboratory technicians can best determine the ideal material for a given treatment.
