One Abutment/One Time - An Evolving Protocol in Implant Therapy
Description:
Dr. Henry Salama presents a detailed and well documented clinical protocol, One Abutment/One Time, that calls for the placement of the final abutment on the day of implant placement and never removing it again. Dr. Salama makes the case that by not removing and replacing components, there is less chance of traumatizing the stability and position of the peri-implant soft tissue.

excellent lecture; with the introduction of cerec omnicam and milling machine you can fabricate a custom abutment and crown, permanent or provisional, at time of implant placement using Ti bases and preserve your ever so critical peri-implant tissue. Any thoughts on this technology?

What Tissue Changes Can We Expect with Anterior Implant Therapy?
Minimizing soft tissue changes following anterior implant therapy is one of the holy grails in implant dentistry. Gingival recession will not only impact the patient’s esthetics, the difficulties in correcting such problem create further challenges to the clinicians.
This presentation will focus on how much soft tissue changes can be expected following implant in the esthetic zone. Discussion will be made as to the etiology of gingival recession and what we can do to prevent it from happening.

Innovative New Technique for Minimally Invasive Crestal Sinus Lift Approach
This webinar will describe the protocol for a trans-crestal sinus lift by using an innovative product called the Magnetic Mallet. This technique allows the clinician to perform a sinus lift and same time osseodensification with immediate implant placement, in an atraumatic and conservative fashion. Dr Baldi will describe the benefits he has seen in his daily practice as well as the additional opportunities in treating "everyday cases" with this magnetic dynamic technology.

Aesthetic Enhancement of Anterior Dental Implants with the Use of Tapered Osteotomes & Soft Tissue Manipluation
An adequate bone base is usually a prerequisite for functionally and aesthetically optimal reconstruction of the soft tissue architecture around a dental implant. In patients with sufficient bone height but insufficient bone width as a result of tooth loss, a jaw enlargement technique with osteotomes combined with soft tissue manipulation may be utilized to facilitate proper implant placement while concomitantly optimizing the aes thetics of the final implant prosthesis. The learning objective of…
