The patient may have problems with opening during her treatment with Dr. Matza due to the genion/constructed gonial angle and the ramus of the mandible being too retruded (16:01) or too close to the cervical spines (C1-C3). The final result of this treatment will lead to a chronic TMD problem. This patient is definitely going to be in a lot of pain. The final Ceph (19:28) shows that the patient has a very high propensity for TMD and obstructive sleep apnea problem!

first of all I would like to thank you for this valuable lecture .
i see that you use a great modified Tweed mechanic which request huge forces for en-mass retraction !? do you think it is better to minimize the root resorption incidence and look for TMA with T loop to retract the canines first and so on?
since you use the headgear to reinforce the anchorage , how you fix the cant of the occlusal plan which still able to be seen after 16 month ?
thanks

Effective Teaching Part 1
Today most orthodontists own a laptop computer that is equipped with PowerPoint (Microsoft Corporation) or some other type of presentation software. In addition, most orthodontists use a digital clinical camera with high resolution to gather photographic records of their patients before, during, and after orthodontic treatment. So any orthodontist has the capability to assemble a lecture or presentation for a group of dentists. What if you were invited to give a one-hour presentation about orthodontics…
