what seems to new or special or innovative...in this video? Suggestion/s: Blocking the gingival embrasure-undercuts using blockout wax(high melting temperature)or any other suitable material of choice, at the posteriors will create a "clinically" much easy to seat template. The prosthetic tooth's position could be better than as shown in the video gingivally. Supplimental waxing up at the gingival third to desired configueration eliminates most additional correctional steps. Silicone(release) spray is used over the model prior to vacume forming. If it is used to cool and "conserve time" as demonstrated in the video,it may qualify to be "meaningless!"

The Digital Revolution in Patient-Dentist-Lab Communication: The DSD Philosophy
The goal is to design a smile that fits the patients functional, esthetic and emotional needs buy improving the team communication and creating a real interdisciplinary treatment plan. Also increasing case acceptance is paramount by utilizing visual communication, balancing the patients expectation and increasing motivation. Modern techniques and materials can be useless if the final outcome doesn’t achieve the patient esthetic desires. Emphasis will be given to the utilization of digital tools to enhance and facilitate the Dentist/Technician interaction and communication with the patient. The protocol proposed will improve the diagnosis, communication and predictability of esthetic rehabilitations, from simple to complex cases, combining veneers, crowns and implants.

Back to the Future: Feldspathic Veneers & Zirconia Layering Techniques
Full monolithic zirconia with external stain technique is one of the popular preference techniques used today. There are many selections of multi-layered zirconia disks and blocks available in the market, which enable dental technicians to produce faster and more esthetic results. When it comes to anterior fabrication, however, full monolithic is not always the best option to process the case. There are many varieties; unique translucencies and characterization that can be seen naturally, making it nearly impossible to achieve with just an external stain technique. That is to say, in order to achieve a natural and lifelike fabrication, a layering technique must be done. This lecture will speak about all ceramic layering technique with current technology of digital tools and how these technologies may be able to assist us.
