Description: Immediate implant placement used to be a controversial subject, but nowadays we can obtain long-term high survival rates with this treatment option. Since surgical and prosthetic time is reduced and a great aesthetic result can be achieved, this therapy is often practiced.
The aim of this presentation is to clarify which parameters and how can they influence a successful outcome in immediate implant placement. Several documented clinical cases and supporting literature will be presented to guide through diagnosis, treatment options and improvement of final outcome.
