Thomas L. Snyder, DMD, MBA

Dr. Tom Snyder has lectured at every major dental meeting throughout the United States and Canada over a span of 28 years. His presentations are lively and to the point.

A renowned consultant, lecturer, and author, Dr. Snyder has consulted with dental practices nationwide in creating “win-win” practice transitions. He is Director Practice Transitions for The Snyder Group, a division of Henry Schein, with offices located in Marlton, New Jersey. Dr. Snyder’s practical approach to the complex and highly personalized area of dental practice transitions has been well received and appreciated by his audiences.

Dr. Snyder is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and also has his MBA from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Snyder was formerly an Associate Professor and Department Chairman at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He is currently a member of the Faculty of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Alumni Association for Penn Dental.

Dr. Snyder has written numerous articles on a broad range of topics including dental practice management, financial management and practice transitions.

He is a member of the Editorial Board of Dental Entrepreneur magazine and has written numerous articles on the topics of strategic planning and practice transitions for Dental Economics and Dental Tribune.

Dr. Snyder writes a monthly column on practice transitions for “The Dentist Network” a bi-monthly “e-newsletter” publication. He is also Consulting Editor for the New Dentist magazine.
