Allodermによる軟組織増大
Description:
In this surgical technique video, Dr. Michael Sonick demonstrates, in great detail, the utilization of AlloDerm Regenerative Tissue Matrix to thicken and enhance the zone of keratinized gingiva in the lower anterior region. Flap design, root preparation, graft stabilization and suturing are some of the important factors that are covered.

thanks Dr.sonick for the clean and nice job.what is the thickness of the membrane ,you have utilized in this case? I namely prefer to use 0.8 mm derm because in lots of cases we don,t have enough soft tissue to be repositioned coronaly, therefor the membrane is going to be exposed.I ,d like to know your opinion and what is your solution for such cases.thanks again.

The Lingually Positioned Flap For Full Arch Soft Tissue Management
One of the least understood and poorly managed aspects of soft tissue management of the implant patient is the lack of keratinized tissues on the lingual aspect of the ridge.
This presentation specifically addresses this issue and describes a very useful and predictable flap and grafting approach to address this common shortcoming of treatment.
The Lingually Positioned Flap in combination with vestibuloplasty and free gingival grafting will be highlighted and described.

The “Semilunar” Graft Technique in Periodontal Plastic Surgery: Revision and Retreatment of Anterior Recession Defects.
In this lecture and video based Case Report, a patient with multiple recession defects in the Maxillary Anterior Region who was first treated with Tunnel Approach and ACDM grafts reveals breakdown of the result at 3 years in the area of the Maxillary Left Central Incisor with further recession and erosion of the root. The Semi-Lunar Approach is highlighted as a minimally invasive microsurgical approach to this situation. Incision design, instrumentation and suturing are highlighted. Post-op results are displayed.

Soft Tissue Management - The Pink Contribution to Achieving Esthetic and Long Lasting Smiles
Today's patients expectations and demands, seek for high aesthetic an long-lasting treatments. For this reason, soft tissue management is often required to provide thick soft tissues around implants and natural teeth, therefore it must be carefully planned and integrated at the treatment plan.
Being the palate our primary choice as soft tissue's donor area, in this lecture is also presented a simple and effective way to reduce patients morbidity after harvesting the palatal mucosa, the PRGF-ENDORET Graft.

Hard and Soft Tissue Augmentation: Optimizing Esthetic Results for the Restorative Dentist
Contemporary patient expectations have made esthetics a major requisite of all treatment plans, especially in situations where there is a high smile line. Although new restorative materials have highly improved predictability and esthetic outcomes, soft and hard tissue management play a fundamental role when working in esthetic areas. To achieve ideal esthetics, preservation of the natural soft and hard tissue architecture is a primary clinical objective. These new proposed techniques illustrate the importance of pre-prosthetic soft and hard tissue management when working in highly esthetic compromised areas.

Two Immediate Temporization Methods Exemplified: Flap vs. Punch Technique in Implant Surgery
Protocols and techniques for immediate tooth replacement in the esthetic zone have become more popular and predictable within the past decade. Two different clinical scenarios are presented where immediate temporization of implants placed into healed or augmented ridges is exemplified. The benefits of augmentation prior to implant placement and temporization are that flap elevation is not required; therefore, the blood supply to the labial plate is not compromised, thereby eliminating potential midfacial recession. In addition, the soft tissue subgingival shape of the temporary crown can be non-surgically sculpted at the time of implant placement since the patient is already anesthetized.

Achieving Predictable Connective Tissue Root Coverage
Gingival recession creates esthetic issues. These issues may be corrected from a restorative perspective by the placement of composite resin or ceramic over the exposed root. But this approach often results in a gingival-incisal length that does not blend esthetically with the adjacent teeth. Often accompanying the gingival recession is a decrease in the band of attached gingiva. The wider the band of attached gingiva, the more stable the long-term result. Therefore, surgical correction of the recession…
