インプラント診療のための次世代のツールと解決策

Description:
Modern Bone Grafting has become more predictable than ever before. Recent developments in CBCT 3D Diagnosis and the utilization of bioactive modifiers such as PRGF, PRF and BMP-2 have stimulated further advances in Surgical techniques as well as a New Age Surgical Armamentarium to maximize the efficiencies and success of these sophisticated procedures. This lecture will highlight this developement, specifically New Age Tools which offer creative and effective solutions for space maintenance, autologous bone harvesting, atraumatic implant removal, and screw fixation. Creative mini-titanium mesh shapes(CTI), autologous bone harvesting drills (ACM Auto Chip Maker), counter torque implant removal systems as well as tenting and fixation screw systems will be discussed and featured.

Hi maurice, Where can I buy the ACM Auto Chip Maker in Europe - ideally in Norway, Scandinavia. Thank you Shelley Khullar Godtfredsen FDSRCS MsC Ph.D

Maurice Salama - (10/23/2012 7:04 PM)

Ola; thank you. For Vertical augmentation of 4mm or less I prefer Ramus, greater than 4mm chin. I do CTG after bone augmentation UNLESS the tissue is THIN or lack of KT then BEFORE. Dr. Salama

Ola Ezat - (10/22/2012 6:12 PM)

Hello DR Maurice.
I would like to ask which had better results chin or ramus graft for vertical ridge augmentation. Also for class 3 do you do soft tissue augmentation as subepithelial connective tissue graft before or after bone augmentation. Thanks alot.

Alessandro Agnini - (8/15/2012 12:40 PM)

Thanks for the beatiful presentation Maurice.when you can, like always do one vertical incision in esthetic zone?Alessandro

Maurice Salama - (8/13/2012 8:50 PM)

Amir; Yes, you must take the opportunity to reposition the flap apically at 2nd stage. The incision is made split-thickness towards the lingual of the crest of the ridge and moved apically and sutured laterally. Thanks for your kind words and for your participation. We hope to see you in Vegas. regards. Dr. S

Amir Erez - (8/13/2012 2:42 AM)

Since flap was advanced coronally, in case needed do you apically reposition the muco-ginginval line in second stage? If so could you describe shortly?- thank you deeply for dentalxp -- Amir

Restoration of Optimal Esthetics in Complex Clinical Situations
Patients often neglect or delay dental care for an extended time because of their negative experiences with and fear of dental treatments. This neglect may result in the advance of periodontitis with severe bone loss, a substantial number of missing teeth, and problems with the remaining teeth. Preexisting malocclusion can aggravate this condition. This case report demonstrates an interdisciplinary strategic approach, in combination with the use of biologically grounded, clinically proven, and viable techniques and technologies to restore optimal esthetics and function in such complex cases. The authors emphasize the importance of carefully planning the timing and sequence of performing periodontal, orthodontic, and implant therapies. The advanced techniques and technologies successfully implemented in this case report include the growth factor and titanium mesh (Ti mesh)-assisted bone augmentation; ovate pontic-mediated, noninvasive soft tissue contouring; and photofunctionalization

Alternative & New Tendencies for Alveolar Reconstruction in Modern Implant Dentistry Premium Member Content

Alternative & New Tendencies for Alveolar Reconstruction in Modern Implant Dentistry
Knowledge of bone biology and physiology are crucial for successful dento-alveolar reconstruction. The presentation will review the natural healing process of the bone and the sequence of events needed for proper regeneration. This process will then be discussed and compare with the present materials and technologies available in the market including alloplastics and allogenic materials. The role of the Stem Cells and rh-BMP2 will be exposed as part of these new trends in alveolar reconstruction for modern implant dentistry. Multiple cases will be presented demonstrating the versatility and outcomes in different clinical situations based on biological, bio-mechanics, and implant aesthetic needs.

Growth Factors; The Next Step in Achieving Ideal Regeneration Premium Member Content

Growth Factors; The Next Step in Achieving Ideal Regeneration
The aim of dentistry is to provide esthetics and function for our patients. Using hard and soft tissue regeneration techniques we have the ability to rebuild what has been lost to disease or trauma. Whether we are regenerating lost tissue around teeth or developing an ideal implant site, growth factors are a powerful asset that help make regenerative procedures more predictable while reducing patient morbidity. This webinar review regeneration techniques and will discuss the popular growth factors available today and demonstrate their clinical use.

A Fixed Whole-Mouth Rehabilitation Utilizing Natural Abutments and Implants: Treatment Concepts and Clinical Realization
A 45-year-old female patient presented to the clinic with a request to treat her deteriorating dentition that had been reconstructed 15 years ago with fixed restorations. Clinical examination revealed fixed partial dentures cemented to natural abutments in the maxilla, whereas telescopic restorations were cemented to natural abutments bilaterally in the mandible. The treatment plan included a whole-mouth rehabilitation utilizing natural teeth and implants. As the patient declined any surgical augmentation…

Multitier Technique for Bone Augmentation Using Intraoral Autogenous Bone Blocks

Multitier Technique for Bone Augmentation Using Intraoral Autogenous Bone Blocks
Brånemarket al1 originally described autologous bone grafts used with dental implants, and they are now a well-accepted procedure in oral and maxillofacial rehabilitation. Placement of an end osseous implant requires sufficient bone volume for complete bone coverage.Further-more,the patter no fridge resorption ,which contributes to a nun favorable maxillo mandibular relationship, requires angulation of the implant and/or angled abutment, and affects the proximity of adjacent facial concavities (maxillary sinus, nasal cavity)and vital structures(mandibular nerve).
