即時インプラントプロビジョナル-軟組織ケアと審美のための重要事項-Part 1

Description:

Great information on bone preservation.

Maurice Salama - (6/1/2013 1:18 PM)

e chan; It Socket Shield only 1mm of labial portion of root left behind indefinitely. In "SRT" technique we leave behind the entire root 1mmm above the crestal bone and cover with Flap or CTG. The root canal can be filled with glass ionomer if already RCT treated or left VITAL without anything added to canal space. Good luck Dr. Salama

With the piece of the tooth that was left in socket shield technique, is it left in indefinitely after the implant is placed? Is the implant directly in contact with the piece of tooth in the coronal part? Just curious, not that i will use the technique at the moment. And with Dr Salama's root submergence technique, is the tooth root canal treated before submerging it? Any restoration over the top of the root before submerging it?

I enjoyed this study so much
you approved very clearly that using BG with provisional will preserve the vertical tissue length
you answer one of my big questions
Thank you

SERGE MADHERE - (9/17/2012 10:02 PM)

Awesome presentation Dr. Chu. It was very informative.

John Zaki - (9/10/2012 8:47 AM)

Great and rich presentation dr. chu but let me get this straight , it is preferable to place a bone graft material around immediate implants to decrease the bucco-lingual collapse especially in aesthetic zone right ? also can we prevent the B-L collapse by using bioactive agents as BMP for example ?

A Complete 3D Strategy to Esthetic Cross Arch Restorations: Guide Surgery & Soft Tissue Interface Management with CAD-CAM Restorations
I will highlight the benefits achievable through the use of guided planning, guided laboratory procedures and guided surgeries, while maintaining the fundamental principles of osseointegration. My ten years of scientifically proven experience and clinical follow-up in guided surgery and CAD/CAM biomimetic restorations will be shared with the audience to support clinical protocols as well as practical tips and tricks with case studies demonstrating each clinical scenario. New surgical and prosthetic improvements and novel proof-of-concept techniques to enhance the natural soft tissue integration will be presented. Viewers will also broaden their knowledge of hard and soft tissue surgical management through the guided surgery, discovering the latest implant designs and prosthetic interfaces designed to achieve an ideal soft tissue seal and bone level over time.

Esthetic Zone Reconstruction: Synergy of Hard and Soft Tissue Grafting Premium Member Content

Esthetic Zone Reconstruction: Synergy of Hard and Soft Tissue Grafting
The loss of alveolar ridge contour in the esthetic zone compromises both esthetics and function. This clinical presentation will focus on the application of both hard and soft tissue grafting in the esthetic zone implementing state of the art interactive CT diagnosis and treatment planning for optimal esthetic implant reconstruction. Emphasis will be on indications, graft and harvest site assessment, timing, and use of bioactive modifiers including BMP, PRGF and PDGF. The surgical protocol utilizing allogeneic and autogenous grafts in conjunction with connective tissue grafts, acellular dermis matrix, and related soft tissue procedures to avoid functional and esthetic pitfalls will be featured. Pre and post-grafting prosthetic workup, interactive CT graft assessment and perio prosthetic driven implant planning, stent driven implant placement, and computer milled abutment fabrication including guided surgery will be included.

The Dual-Zone Therapeutic Concept of Managing Immediate Implant Placement and Provisional Restoration in Anterior Extraction Sockets

The Dual-Zone Therapeutic Concept of Managing Immediate Implant Placement and Provisional Restoration in Anterior Extraction Sockets
Improvements in implant designs have helped advance successful immediate anterior implant placement into fresh extraction sockets. Clinical techniques described in this case enable practitioners to achieve predictable esthetic success using a method that limits the amount of buccal contour change of the extraction site ridge and potentially enhances the thickness of the peri-implant soft tissues coronal to the implant-abutment interface. This approach involves atraumatic tooth removal without flap elevation, and placing a bone graft into the residual gap around an immediate fresh-socket anterior implant with a screw-retained provisional restoration acting as a prosthetic socket seal device.

Finding Z: A Mathematical Method For Predicting Tissue Position After Implant Abutment-Restoration Placement
A visible abutment-restorative interface is a problematic consequence, especially in the esthetic zone. This article presents formulas to predict the vertical tissue position around the abutment-restoration, which can be used both as a guide to the clinical situation and as an aid to computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing design.

Transitional Custom Abutments: Optimizing Esthetics in Implant Supported Restorations
As the discipline of implant prosthodontics continues to evolve, additional emphasis has been focused on the role of adequate emergence profiles and peri-implant soft tissue contours. Despite the development of anatomically shaped healing abutments, currently advocated techniques exhibit clinical limitations. This article introduces the transitional custom abutment technique as a method of manipulating the supraimplant soft tissue contours so that optimal emergence profiles and increased restorative flexibility…
