The Smile Design Revolution - Management, Communication and Implementation
Treatment planning a full mouth rehabilitation is amazingly challenging. So many options and steps must be coordinated and controlled to achieve a successful outcome. Developing the Smile Design is just the starting point. Carefully integrating this design to function is the key. This presentation will show how this process is a complex brainstorm that needs to be guided by logical and rational steps to achieve consistent and predictable solutions.

Beyond Technologies; Digital & Esthetic Dentistry
Workflow using an integrated approach with CAD/CAM, CBCT, and 3D printing will be highlighted. Learn how to integrate digital technologies for comprehensive 3D implantology including the diagnostic scan, implant planning, surgical guide design and fabrication, and the digital restoration. The concept behind full and direct restorations including immediate provisionalization and how the stitching of multiple files taken from intra-oral scans and CBCT can provide the necessary information to advance to in-office 3D printing and CEREC restorations.

Biofunctional Dynamic Occlusion
Biofunctional Dynamic Occlusion is a comprehensive approach between occlusion, posture, and function. Overall, this lecture will create an understanding and relationship between the cervical spine and mandibular movements and the trilogy between Joints, Muscles and Occlusion. Most of the patients that we treat for dysfunction, were compromised during the early stages of growth and development. Overtime these created accommodations and compensations in the system induced by the physiology of the airway.

“The Full Arch Patient”; A Fully Digital Affair
Guided Surgery (GS) is a concept where you are guided by the rehabilitation needs of your patient to perform the implant surgery procedure based on all the info that we process via planning software that are loaded with digital files coming from intra-oral scanning (IOS) and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). After planning the case, we print a surgical guide or stent to perform the surgery, this technique allows us to do it flap or flapless in a complete secure environment, quicker and more precise if we compare to "freehand" surgery. However, we have to be careful because not all the systems are the same; those who use scoops as reductors are less precise than the "scoopless", no matter which system we use we have to be clear to understand that all the classic concepts of osseointegration are not erased by guided surgery, especially bone physiology.
