Maximizing Aesthetics on Adjacent Implants and Full Arch Reconstructions - Part 1 of 2
Description:
The beauty in implant dentistry is that every case is an individual challenge. An ideal implant treatment uses procedures , techniques, materials and technologies that leads fast and on the shortest way to a maximally aesthetic result. This is our goal, in every clinical case, from single tooth replacement to full arch reconstructions.

Advanced Bone Grafting Techniques: Part 1 - Autogenous Bone Blocks in the Reconstruction of the Atrophic Mandibular Ridge
This lecture will describe the use of autologous onlay block bone grafting for reconstruction of moderate to severe atrophic posterior mandibular alveolar ridge. This will include a discussion of the various options to this form of grafting, such as Short implants, Lingual positioning, nerve repositioning, distraction osteogenesis, and GBR. The Mutli-Tier onlay Bone Graft Technique will be highlighted in this presentation. Additionally, a review of a recently submitted research paper of long term follow up of implants placed into autologous bone blocks harvested from the mandibular ramus, retromolar and sympheseal areas will be discussed.

Surgical Management of the Full Arch Patient; Do's & Don'ts
The responsibility of the surgeon is even more critical when performing a Full Arch Implant treatment. A thorough review of the anatomy is critical prior to the day of surgery to precisely assess the quality and quantity of bone/soft tissues as well as the location of critical anatomical landmarks such as the mandibular nerve, mental nerve, mylohyoid concavity, genial tubercles, floor of the nose, sinus floor, nasopalatine canal, greater palantine canal and pterygoid, zygomatic buttress. A thorough medical review is also a key element to avoid bleeding issues and a poor healing outcome.

The Reconstruction of a "Critical Size" 3D Bone Defect Utilizing the Khoury Bone Plate Technique
Bone defects and bone resorption are a common finding for the clinicians in cases where dental implant therapy is needed.
These situations dictates that the defect must be first reconstructed prior to or simultaneously with placing the implants
This presentation will focus on a case of a bone resorption in the mandible that will be reconstructed, using only autogenous bone to accommodate a future functional implant supported restoration.

Alternative & New Tendencies for Alveolar Reconstruction in Modern Implant Dentistry
Knowledge of bone biology and physiology are crucial for successful dento-alveolar reconstruction. The presentation will review the natural healing process of the bone and the sequence of events needed for proper regeneration.
This process will then be discussed and compare with the present materials and technologies available in the market including alloplastics and allogenic materials. The role of the Stem Cells and rh-BMP2 will be exposed as part of these new trends in alveolar reconstruction for modern implant dentistry. Multiple cases will be presented demonstrating the versatility and outcomes in different clinical situations based on biological, bio-mechanics, and implant aesthetic needs.

A Fixed Whole-Mouth Rehabilitation Utilizing Natural Abutments and Implants: Treatment Concepts and Clinical Realization
A 45-year-old female patient presented to the clinic with a request to treat her deteriorating dentition that had been reconstructed 15 years ago with fixed restorations. Clinical examination revealed fixed partial dentures cemented to natural abutments in the maxilla, whereas telescopic restorations were cemented to natural abutments bilaterally in the mandible. The treatment plan included a whole-mouth rehabilitation utilizing natural teeth and implants. As the patient declined any surgical augmentation…

Intraoral Autogenous Block Onlay Bone Grafting for ExtensiveReconstruction of Atrophic Maxillary Alveolar Ridges
Autologous bone grafting used with dental implants was originally described by Bränemarketal in 1975, and is now a well-accepted procedure in oral and maxillofacial rehabilitation.Placement of an endosseous implant requires sufficient bone volume for complete bone coverage. Furthermore, the pattern of ridge resorption contributes to an unfavorable maxillomandibular relationship, requires angulations of the implants and/or angled abutments, and affects the proximity of adjacent facial concavities(maxillary sinus, nasal cavity) and vital structures(mandibular nerve).
