Minimally Invasive Esthetic Approach with Lithium Disilicate Adhesive Restorations
Description:
The clinical challenge when offering an aesthetic restorative treatment is to preserve as much tooth structure as possible, while looking for simplicity in the restorative procedures, predictability in the function and longevity of restorative materials thru time; allowing the aesthetic improvements from a functional point of view.
The need of optimal results in the areas of aesthetic compromise, the function and biocompatibility, require a thorough analysis of facial references and intra-oral aspects.
The multidisciplinary approach is the key to success in order to meet the esthetic expectations of patients; accompanied by a scientific support when it comes to material selection, and a combination of science and art when it comes to reproducing nature. Beyond the type of restoration, the challenge is to mimic natural beauty and harmony.
We will describe step by step the treatment planning and laboratory procedures; showing how technology, new generation restorative materials and artistic skills are combined and managed to accurately obtain the esthetic requirements of each patient.

Ultimate Solution for Minimally Invasive Feldspathic Veneers
Full monolithic zirconia with external stain technique is one of the popular preference techniques used today. There are many selections of multi-layered zirconia disks and blocks available in the market, which enable dental technicians to produce faster and more esthetic results. When it comes to anterior fabrication, however, full monolithic is not always the best option to process the case. There are many varieties; unique translucencies and characterization that can be seen naturally, making it nearly impossible to achieve with just an external stain technique. That is to say, in order to achieve a natural and lifelike fabrication, a layering technique must be done. This lecture will speak about all ceramic layering technique with current technology of digital tools and how these technologies may be able to assist us.

Anterior Aesthetic Zone - 100% Digital
Over the past 5 years many digital technologies have merged to allow clinician the opportunity to restore anterior teeth with implants, crowns and veneers. Many of these techniques can now be performed in a 100% digital platform. Utilizing digital imaging, file merging and digital analysis any patient can now be treated with a digital treatment plan: From planning, scanning, designing and printing, the options are endless. Determining the correct and efficient digital path will be presented for these procedures. Ideal capture of information pre-surgically and pre- preparation will allow the clinician ideal control of the hard tissue, soft tissue, tooth structure and implant abutment design. It will be demonstrated how todays digital technologies are predictable, cost effective and easy to learn through our step by step approach

Color in Esthetics: The Science Behind Beauty
This presentation will be very different from programs in color matching, communication and reproduction of natural teeth that you may have attended in the past. The didactic part will emphasize the nature, principles and fundamentals of color, and tools that are essential to master a plan for successful color matching in both office and dental laboratory, together with step-by-step instructions. Examples and practical suggestions will be provided, including the latest changes recommended by the presenter. Dental Color Matcher, a color education and training program for esthetic dentistry authored by the presenter and used by dental professionals and students in 100+ countries, will be demonstrated.

Clinical Performance of Porcelain Laminate Veneers: Outcomes of the Aesthetic Pre-evaluative Temporary (APT) Technique
The article evaluates the long-term clinical performance of porcelain laminate veneers bonded to teeth prepared with the use of an additive mock-up and aesthetic pre-evaluative temporary (APT) technique over a 12-year period. Sixty-six patients were restored with 580 porcelain lamintate veneers. Over 12 years, 42 laminate veneers failed, but when the preparations were limited to the enamel, the failure rate resulting from debonding and microleakage decreased to 0%. Porcelain laminate veneers presented a successful clinical performance in terms of marginal adaptation, discoloration, gingival recession, secondary caries, postoperative sensitivity, and satisfaction with restoration shade at the end of 12 years. The APT technique facilitated diagnosis, communication and preparation providing predictability for the restorative treatment. Limiting the preparation depth to the enamel surface significantly increases the performance of porcelain laminate veneers.
