thank you nice presentaion

Great Presentation

I think you can have your initial plan, but sometimes you need a B plan, and it's always good to see adaptation in tough clinical situations.Nice video Dr. Stanley.

Thank you Dr. Stanley for a great presentation, using MIS and bone bond (another Israeli product) routinely with great success, looking fw for you next lecture.

Hello and good morning. Thank you for all your kind words, it is always nice to know we all share a common interest in our daily lives. I look forward to presenting some new material very soon. In all 3 languages. We are just getting started. As for your comment Carlos, in more than one case there is a biohorizon implant, this is because I use both systems in my daily practice, however have recently been using mostly MIS. I don't see why you would regard the brand of implant as part of a good treatment planning. What should matter is the size, shape and quality of bone and soft tissue. I'm sure you would agree.

carlos martinez reding - (1/4/2012 11:07 PM)

Dr Stanley repeat in several ocasions that all the treatments that he performed are very good planed. But in some of his cases he ended up with another type of implant ,specificaly Biohorizon to solved the problem at the surgery. This dosn´t show good planning at all.

Alveolar Ridge Regenerative Strategies: Autogenous Bone vs BMP-2
This clinical based presentation will compare the use of autogenous bone vs BMP-2 for alveolar ridge reconstruction. The science, indications, advantages and disadvantages of each approach will be featured. Single tooth to full arch reconstruction cases will also be shown along with understanding the application of non-resorbable vs resorbable mesh barriers for alveolar ridge reconstruction.

The Reconstruction of a "Critical Size" 3D Bone Defect Utilizing the Khoury Bone Plate Technique Premium Member Content

The Reconstruction of a "Critical Size" 3D Bone Defect Utilizing the Khoury Bone Plate Technique
Bone defects and bone resorption are a common finding for the clinicians in cases where dental implant therapy is needed. These situations dictates that the defect must be first reconstructed prior to or simultaneously with placing the implants This presentation will focus on a case of a bone resorption in the mandible that will be reconstructed, using only autogenous bone to accommodate a future functional implant supported restoration.

Advanced Bone Grafting Techniques: Part 2 - Autogenous Bone Blocks in the Reconstruction of the Atrophic Maxillary Ridge
This lecture will describe the use of autologous onlay block bone grafting for reconstruction of moderate to severe atrophic maxillary alveolar ridge. This will include a discussion of the various options to this form of grafting, such as short implants, maxillary sinus augmentation, sub-nasal elevation procedure, connective tissue grafting and soft tissue manipulation, Le-Fort I down fracture/osteotomy and the use of progenitor cells: bone marrow aspirating concentrated. A description of surgical donor harvest sites in the mandible will also be performed as well as post-op healing of these sites. Additional time will be spent reviewing causes of failure with bone blocks and implants placed into these sites.

The Dual Zone Approach to Tooth Replacement in the Esthetic Zone Premium Member Content

The Dual Zone Approach to Tooth Replacement in the Esthetic Zone
Improvements in implant designs have helped advance successful immediate anterior implant placement into fresh extraction sockets. Clinical techniques described in this presentation will enable practitioners to achieve predictable esthetic success using a method that limits the amount of buccal contour change of the extraction site ridge and potentially enhances the thickness of the peri-implant soft tissues coronal to the implant-abutment interface. This approach involves atraumatic tooth removal without flap elevation, and placing a bone graft into the residual gap around an immediate fresh-socket anterior implant with a screw-retained provisional restoration acting as a prosthetic socket seal device. Long term follow up and evidence from scientific literature to support this concept will be described.

Esthetic Zone Reconstruction: Synergy of Hard and Soft Tissue Grafting Premium Member Content

Esthetic Zone Reconstruction: Synergy of Hard and Soft Tissue Grafting
The loss of alveolar ridge contour in the esthetic zone compromises both esthetics and function. This clinical presentation will focus on the application of both hard and soft tissue grafting in the esthetic zone implementing state of the art interactive CT diagnosis and treatment planning for optimal esthetic implant reconstruction. Emphasis will be on indications, graft and harvest site assessment, timing, and use of bioactive modifiers including BMP, PRGF and PDGF. The surgical protocol utilizing allogeneic and autogenous grafts in conjunction with connective tissue grafts, acellular dermis matrix, and related soft tissue procedures to avoid functional and esthetic pitfalls will be featured. Pre and post-grafting prosthetic workup, interactive CT graft assessment and perio prosthetic driven implant planning, stent driven implant placement, and computer milled abutment fabrication including guided surgery will be included.

Modified IVAN Technique: Long-Term Follow-Up of 20 Cases Over 2 to 11 Years
When natural teeth fail, frequently there is a loss of hard and soft tissue. This may complicate subsequent dental implant placement by creating insufficient bone to house the implant. This also occurs when the tooth has been missing for an extended period, especially in the premaxilla, where the bone is less dense and often lacks sufficient volume of facial bone. Site reconstruction to accommodate implant placement often requires both hard and soft tissue augmentation. The modified interpositional vascularized augmentation neogenesis (mIVAN) technique achieves the desired treatment goals in both delayed and immediate placement scenarios. The technique will be discussed as well as the long-term follow-up on 20 cases.
