The Art of Clinical Photography
Description:
.A picture is worth a thousand words is a proverb that refers to the idea that complex stories can be described with just a single still image, or that an image may be more influential than a substantial amount of text. When we take photography in our practice, we don’t have to say anything. It is so much easier to show the patient what we are talking about and they are able to visualize the key points as to the treatment plan. This program is designed to introduce you to the exciting world of Dental Digital Photography, showing how to take photos and images like a true professional! Gain practical hands-on experience that will demonstrate to you the benefits of including Digital Photography in your practice.

Great program,Shannon,
I particularly like your suggestion of taking extra-oral photographs in hygiene so the patient can more easily see where you are speaking about. My only suggestion is to add 'Legal reasons' in your "Reasons for taking photographs" since having before and after photographs has kept many a dentist out of potential law suits. Patients have a short memory of what their previous condition was like.

Esthetic Techniques and Materials
This presentation is a must for the dental team who is ready to go to the next level. The changes in the marketplace require us to communicate with our patients differently. It requires us to learn new procedures, learn to work with new materials, and have a higher level of communication with the dental laboratory. But mostly, it requires all members of the dental team to be aware of these new exciting times, and have the tools to build the practice of our dreams.

Legal Considerations in the Use of Cone Beam Computer Tomography Imaging
Cone beam computed tomography imaging represents a paradigm shift for enhancing diagnosis and treatment planning. Questions regarding cone beam computed tomography's associated legal responsibility are addressed, including cone beam tomography necessity, recognition of pathosis in the scan's entire volume, adequate training, informed consent and/or refusal and current court status of cone bean computed tomography. Judicious selection and prudent use of cone beam computed tomography technology to protect and promote patient safety and efficacious treatment complies with the standard of care.
