Questions & Comments
Ronald Goldstein - (11/18/2013 5:25 PM)

Bandar, if there is an esthetic defect at the CEJ after crown lengthening then yes composite resin would be my prefered restoration. However, if the tooth color is satisfactory then why not wait until there is a problem and just desensitize the cervical area with any number of desensitization agents.

Bandar Al-Abdulwahhab - (11/15/2013 2:09 AM)

Thank you my preferred teacher, During easthetic crown Lengthing , If we have exposed CEJ , due prefer more easthetic treatment like adding composite?

Creating Tooth to Face Proportion in One Visit Premium Member Content

Creating Tooth to Face Proportion in One Visit
This video illustrates a conservative technique for proportioning teeth to improve the smile and facial appearance as well. The goal in interpersonal contact is to be able to maintain eye to eye contact. However, when a tooth or teeth are out of proportion such as crowded, it becomes more difficult to maintain the eye to eye contact. The solution in this case is cosmetic contouring or reshaping the crowded teeth which provides an immediate esthetic result.

Back to the Future: Feldspathic Veneers & Zirconia Layering Techniques
Full monolithic zirconia with external stain technique is one of the popular preference techniques used today. There are many selections of multi-layered zirconia disks and blocks available in the market, which enable dental technicians to produce faster and more esthetic results. When it comes to anterior fabrication, however, full monolithic is not always the best option to process the case. There are many varieties; unique translucencies and characterization that can be seen naturally, making it nearly impossible to achieve with just an external stain technique. That is to say, in order to achieve a natural and lifelike fabrication, a layering technique must be done. This lecture will speak about all ceramic layering technique with current technology of digital tools and how these technologies may be able to assist us.

CAD/CAM Solutions for Minimally Invasive All-Ceramic Rehabilitation of Extended Erosive Lesions
Dental erosion is a global health problem that can lead to significant functional and esthetic impairments of the affected patients. Treatment of sever cases with augmented loss of the vertical dimension of occlusion (VDO) represents a challenge for both the dental team and the patient. CAD/CAM technology was used in the presented case to analyze the inter-occlusal space. The case report documents a practical, digital approach and discusses the advantages related to treatment time, ease of treatment, and predictability.
