Sinus Lift & Immediate Implant Placement: "The Easy Protocol"
Description:
Sinus lift is still a common procedure in 2017. Many alternative techniques to sinus lift have been published to avoid invading this anatomical space, such as tilted implants with angled prosthetic abutments, extra short implants, distal pontic cantilever, zygomatic or tuberosity implant placements. However, many situations like highly pneumatized sinus for single missing tooth, extreme atrophic areas at posterior sites, etc. will necessarily have to be solved performing sinus lift techniques to regenerate the missing alveolar bone with no alternative option to take.
In this presentation we will discuss the anatomical concepts of Maxillary Sinus, correct diagnosis and treatment planning. Many cases will be shown to describe the use of this advanced and specific Instruments to become more safe, predictable and minimally invasive as well as the use of growth factor therapy to protect the Schneiderian membrane which will give a modern perspective different from the classic approach.

Hydraulics and Densification in Sinus & Ridge Management
Majority of the cases in the maxilla require some form of sinus grafting or procedures to increase ridge width. Innovations in the field of site preparation using Osseodensification principles and use of Hydraulics for sinus elevations have simplified the procedure of gaining bone volume in such clinical situations.
Newer tools and materials have enabled clinicians to offer a minimally invasive transalveolar approach to sinus grafting compared to the lateral window approach. Densification drills have provided the clinicians a solution to optimize and expand the site for implant placement.
This presentation will analyze various clinical situations needing ridge and sinus augmentation and provide predictable solutions to achieve high success rates.

The Magnetic Mallet and It’s Use in Daily Practice - Clinical Perspective
This innovative machine called the Magnetic Mallet is a device based on a EU/US patent of invention in oral surgery. It uses magnetism to generate a very impressive acceleration of the osteotomes that maximizes the forces applied to the bone (making the procedure fast and efficient) and in the meantime minimizes the inertia and discomfort for the patient. Such speed doesn’t cause any bone heating therefore irrigation water is also not needed!

Site Preparation & Osseodensification in Bone Management
Today's implant arena involves not only the understanding of procedures but also the science behind wound healing.
Often new technologies and instrumentation evolves that have a significant impact on what we are able to do clinically. Piezosurgical devices, periotomes, osteotomes, hydraulic sinus devices, neurosurgical drills, and the "PET" (Partial Extraction Therapies) system are just a short list of those that have made surgery more efficient and less traumatic for our patients. Osseodensification is another concept that can be added to this long list. This lecture will speak about new age bone management concepts and how these technologies may be able to assist us. Potential issues and focus on use will be touched upon as well.

Sinus Floor Elevation: A Clinical, Radiographic and Histologic Overview
This presentation and imbedded HD videos will highlight the important aspects of the Sinus Lift procedure and how to increase the success rate while minimizing complications.
An overview of the procedure with detail radiographic planning and follow up outcomes will be displayed and histoligical results highlighted to gain an appreciation of the timing of bone fill and when you can place and load implants in the augmented sinus. Complications and their management will be equally covered with an impetus on case and patient management and follow up care. Common medications and techniques for each procedure will be noted.
